Wat over blijft
Wat over blijft is an audiovisual show by Oceanic and Tharim Cornelisse that highlights the glue in between the parts and the traces the protagonist keeps leaving behind. A semi-improvised performance where audio and video complement each other and tell a narrative by showing the remains.
As both a DJ and a producer Oceanic creates immersive and shape-shifting environments in which boundaries dissolve. Like tides, the musical experiences Oceanic creates feel driven by forces bigger than the sum of their parts. Here he finds overlap with the work of visual artist Tharim Cornelisse. Cornelisse uses his own custom digital tools and techniques to create emotive abstract digital worlds within live performances where audio, light and visuals merge and enhance one another.
In their live audiovisual performance Choral Feeling, named after Oceanic his critically acclaimed debut album, Oceanic and Cornelisse found their first collaborative piece. A performance built around visceral human movement and connection between bodies where live visuals are mixed, manipulated and tell a narrative that finds connection with the live music being played.

REPAIR CAFE
Wednesday 3 June | from 19:00 | Studio/K
On Wednesday 3rd of June you can come to Studio/K with your broken-down electronics that have been sitting in the back of the closet because they need fixing but you don’t know how. The handymen from Repair Café de Meevaart will be ready with their tools at Studio/K from 19:00 and will teach you everything they know about fixing your electronics and in the meantime fix your broken items together with you for free!

BOTANISCH TEKENEN at Studio/K
Pluk een mooie bloem uit de vaas of onkruid tussen de stenen vandaan en teken deze van top tot teen. Je mag er ook een voorbij vliegende insect naar keuze aan toevoegen, om zo de botanische prent van je dromen te maken.
Tijdens de workshop wordt je begeleid door Tonny Kwint, kunstdocent, kunsthistoricus en biologisch sierteler. Zij leert je over het ontstaan en de functie van botanische tekeningen en begeleid je om op historische wijze, met (kleur)potlood, waterverf je eigen tekening te maken .
In botanisch tekenen komen kunst en onderzoek samen. Het natuurgetrouw leren weergeven van een plant op je eigen creatieve wijze, terwijl dit ook duidelijk en overzichtelijk moet zijn. Een bijzondere ontmoeting met een organisme, want hoe goed heb je nou daadwerkelijk gekeken?
Deze manier van tekenen en schilderen laat je zien, ontdekken, verwonderen en tot rust komen. Papier en tekenmaterialen zijn aanwezig.
