SHIFTING HORIZONS
Our cultural program aims to deepen the ecological and social dialogue initiated by our festival. Featuring an Eco Expo and a live audiovisual concert, it offers rich material for contemplation and discussion. Through woven textures, shifting sands, and sonic landscapes, the Eco Expo explores land as memory, movement and sound. Weaving, erosion, and sound shape stories of strength, change, and place—inviting us to reflect on connection and resistance.

live audiovisual show

Wednesday 16 April | 21:00 | Studio/K

As we cycle through exhaustion, apathy, hope, and collapse, we slip into the fractures of late-capitalist existence. orah’s distorted visuals bleed into Chinnamasta’s sonic echoes, decays, and glitches. This immersive A/V performance follows these traces, asking—can we coexist or resist? Will we dream, or will we disappear?

Walkshop: SONGS OF THE HORIZON

On Saturday 19th of April Werner de Valk and Sifra Coulet organise a Walkshop. In this walking workshop, you can visit some locations that are part of the artwork Songs of the Horizon by Werner de Valk, which will also be shown at Sprouts. We’ll walk with the artist to Flevopark and listen to some fragments while witnessing the current corresponding horizons. This will set the ground for a conversation in the park about the impact of digital progress on the experience of space, both environmental and psychological.

Saturday 19 April | 16:00 – 18:00
Location: start at Studio/K

Want to attend the free walkshop? Let us know that you want to join via sproutsfilmfestival@gmail.com
